What we're making

One game in early access, one engine under it, and room on the shelf for whatever comes next.

Shardbound in-game: a Warblade at the gate towers of Lumen Hollow at dusk

Flagship · Early access

Shardbound

A classic tab-target MMORPG on its own engine, made independently and honestly unfinished.

Pick a target, learn skills as you level, run dungeons with friends and meet strangers in a world that persists. Factions fight over the fallen Lumen Shard. The hour comes from the server, so every player sees the same dawn, the same storm and the same night. Nothing that affects power is ever sold.

It's playable today and free up to a level cap. Most of the art is placeholder: early access pays for the art and development still to come.

What it looks like today

Straight from the game, placeholder art and all.

Nothing else announced

Shardbound has all of our attention. When there's another game to talk about, it will be here first.

Built to be reused

Kiln's editor framework holds no game: cameras, gizmos, undo, preferences. Shardbound's world editor is one game built on it, and the next one starts from it.

Follow along

The quickest way to hear what we're up to is Shardbound itself: its news, its roadmap and its early access.
